
The
legendary state of Rajasthan occupies a position in the northwestern part of

Climate & Best Time to Visit
Summer, monsoon, post monsoon and winter are the four climatic periods in
the state. April to June is the summer time. During this period, temperature
ranges between 32 degrees and 45 degrees centigrade. Monsoon hits the state
during July increasing the humidity and continues till September. Post
monsoon season extends from October to November. December to March is the
winter period. Mid October to mid March is the ideal time to make a trip to
Rajasthan.

» Forts/ Palaces : Being a land of valour and
romance, Rajastha offers to see a number of imposing forts and palaces that
dot its landscape from one corner to the other. The most popular ones in the
group include the Umaid Bhawan Palace, City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Lake Palace,
Jaisalmer Fort and Amber Fort.

Pilgrimage Centres : Pilgrims and devotees too find a lot to quench
their thirst for spirituality. Tourists and holidaymakers from far and wide
arrive here to see the Only Brahma Temple at Pushkar. The Dargah Sharif at
Ajmer is a significant Muslim pilgrimage inviting hordes of devotees

the Dilwara Jain Temple, the Karni Mata Temple, Eklingji Temple, Parsvanath
Temple, Shrinathji Temple etc.

holidaying are no less. Mt Abu nestled in the Aravalli Hills is one of the
oldest hill stations in the state. The Summer Festival of Mt Abu attracts a

Jaipur, Udaipur and Jodhpur are the three major airports in the state of
Rajasthan. The airports have regular flights to Delhi and Mumbai and other
